Security Systems in DARPA Project
Security systems is literally a means or method by which something is secured through a system of interworking components and devices.The DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) has lifted a small, liquid-cooled data center in just 29 hours in view of the Cyber Grand Challenge.The defense team establishes security based on artificial intelligence for the Cyber Grand Challenge.
The event, which took place on August 4, aims to test the possibility of using artificial intelligence security systems that can find security breaches and review them without human intervention.
The United States Army, which commissioned the Department of Defense investigation, said, “Is not it the most beautiful liquid cooling data center you’ve ever seen?”
While much of DARPA’s work is directly applicable to military uses, it has also helped to make advances such as computer networks and graphical user interfaces. Its most notable achievement is its participation in the creation of the Internet.
This data center was built for the CGC, which aims to achieve innovations for both military and commercial use. The challenge will face the creations of the seven teams of computer security experts in a whole against all.
The seven supercomputers, designed with seven server racks, will have a stand-alone security robot installed on one of the computers. The robots will be programmed with the DARPA software that none of the robots have seen before, and they will have to patch the gaps in their own system while exploiting the holes in the other systems. All this without any help from humans.
Self-contained security robots are an area of intense research, with the promise of artificial intelligence security systems that can defend (but also attack).
Google has already resorted to learning machines to help protect Android, while Baidu has used deep neural networks to detect malware. New companies such as Deep Instinct and Cylance alike use neural networks to try to find malware.
