After hiring Morgan Stanley investment bank services to explore strategic options two years ago, Rackspace Hosting could be close to reaching an agreement for sale to a private equity firm, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Some people close to the negotiations told the newspaper that the company is in advanced talks with one or more private equity firms, and that this week the agreement will be announced.
